    The Alpine Hoodie is a highly breathable  premium synthetic insulated piece that excels as a stand-alone jacket or a layering solution for various conditions.

    Made from a dynamic mini-RipStop fabric and premium 60-gram 3DeFX+™ Toray®  insulation, this lightweight jacket is warm but highly breathable and water resistant.

    Its durable 4-way stretch insulation, patterning, and sewing techniques ensure a comfortable, streamlined fit.

    • Patterned for active use, the Alpine Hoodie won't ride up or bind across the back when moving.
    • 60-gram 3DeFX+™ Stretch insulation from Toray® a high-performance next-generation packable solution

        Best Light Jacket I Have

        NR hits it out of the park every time. I already have the Alpha Shell - which I love. The Alpine Hoodie is just as good. So well designed that every detail makes sense. And the Large is feels like it was tailor made for me, at 6 ft 3 inches.

        Supporting our Adventure Sport Retreat

        Nomadic Research is supporting our second annual adventure sports retreat in Moab, UT. Based on our experience the previous year, some of our participants need a cold weather gear solution to being out in the canyon system in the early mornings and after the sun goes down.
