About

Forged from Experience. Built for Freedom.

Nomadic Research® exists at the intersection of design thinking and a warrior ethos. We build purpose-driven outdoor and travel gear for people who love freedom—kit that earns its place through function, discipline, and real-world performance.

Founded by a former Navy SEAL and a Marine Sniper who served together at the CIA, our standards come from experience, not theory. Every product is refined through field testing and premium materials to deliver reliability, mobility, and trust—day after day, mile after mile.

Forged from experience, built for freedom. That’s the work. That’s the promise. Join us.

What we hold to

Function leads

Performance in real conditions comes first.

Simplicity

Clean layouts, no clutter, no extra noise.

Reliability

Kit that holds up under weight, weather, and time.

Responsibility

For yourself, for the people with you, and for the environments you move through.

Freedom

Everything serves your ability to move freely.

How we design kit

Start with a real scenario. Test. Then release.

Route, climate, loadout. We map what needs to be carried, where it lives, and how fast it needs to be reached. Materials like X-Pac and Cordura are chosen as tools for a specific job, not for show. Nothing ships until it has been used in real conditions by real people.
