Carryology Reviewed the TTL 38L Travel Bag. This is what they thought.
Carryology, a go-to and trusted voice in the carry gear world, recently took a deep dive into our Nomadic Research- TTL 38L Travel Bag. They shared their thoughts, giving us...
The Raid pack is ruggedly built able to withstand the most extreme conditions. Lightweight and built with functionality in mind. The zippers are high quality as are all the materials. Everything fit perfectly!
I recommend this pack for a day at the park hike to high intensity activities. Repelling and climbing with this pack is a dream as it sit perfectly on the body strapping in securely. I recommend this pack 10/10 with no issues.
You will know from the first moment, this was designed by people who know exactly what you need for all your outdoor adventures.
Love the jacket! Well built, warm and comfortable. Well worth the money.
I recently borrowed this shell for a trip. It did its job perfectly for being so lightweight. This is a new must-have for where I live in the Midwest.
I recently used the alpine hoodie in the high desert with mornings in the 30s and afternoons in the 60s. It adapts well to your body temp to maintain comfort at all times. It maintains its shape even after stuffing it in a pack.
Took this pack for 5 days through Moab Utah. Its durability and versatility are unmatched! Hiking, biking, canyoneering, it did it all without a rip, tear or a broken buckle. These packs are built for whatever you want to throw at it! The RAID PACK 2.0 will not let you down! Stay mobile!
I use this pack as my daily go bag and for travel. It was used recently for a week in Moab and held up perfectly. It also adjusts to be comfortable enough to wear all day.
Built like a tank and comfortable with loads that would be heavy for a pack that size
I absolutely love this thing. Super light weight and packable. Surprisingly warm for it's weight. My new go-to jacket. Paired with it's shell, I stayed warm and dry on a windy, rainy, mid-30s day in the PNW.
Nomadic Research provided an Awesome shirt at a fair price, the fit and comfort is Great!, The quality is Excellent and their shipping was on point. Look forward to purchasing more from them in the future.
Thank you!
Put this one through it's paces on a rainy western Washington elk hunt. Kept me dry after a solid day of walking through tall scotch broom and brush. Even after a 1000' climb with pack on, it breathed enough for me to not get soaked from the inside too. This is definitely my new go to rain shell. Put my old Sitka gore-tex shell to shame.
Excellent build quality, it’s a little smaller than I expected. But, a LAW folded, 10.5 with muzzle brake will fit.
I would just like to say im not using this backpack to its 100% potential but im a wildland firefighter and all the abuse and everything that goes into my job this pack has definetly impressed me 1.with its carrying capacity 2. With its non tactical appearance but all the use of a tactical backpack only one little rip on the side but otherwise a great pack thoroughly impressed would buy a second one if i could
This has to be my new favorite jacket. I purchased it before I went on a trip to Ukraine and brought my usual Arc Teryx jacket as well. I lived in my Alpine Hoodie from early evening through morning coffee. Can't recommend this enough. The quality and finish are exceptional and you cannot beat the value.
This shirt is excellent quality. The fit is athletic and the material high grade. I love these shirts and appreciate the understated logo. Great product.
Been running the TTL for about 2 years now, yeah it’s that good. Some loose threads but easy remedy. Been gate checked via Delta a few times (no worries) . It’s what the TAD meridian should have been and this solves that autistic search for that pack again without the downfalls. This has been on 35+. Flights and looks new.
Love the sleeve. However, I wish it was a half inch taller. I have the 2025 MacBook Air M4. It fits just fine unless I have the thin, plastic protective case on it. It still fits with the case, but its not easy.
I was looking for a solid product to use as an all-in-one system for my laptop, phone, and accessories that I need while traveling for work. The Weapons Sleeve combined with the Admin Organizer perfectly meet these needs.
I'm really impressed with the build quality and it fits my laptop perfectly. I have a 16" apple M3 pro and it even has a thin hard case over it for protection. Despite that it still fit perfectly within the Laptop sleeve. I paired that with my NR TTL bag and it has been awesome.
The attention to detail and quality of components can’t be ignored. The HD Raid 2.0 has a surprising internal volume (I coupled my purchase with the admin panel and expanding packing cubes). It affords for amazing interior storage options and a clean look, while also preventing a yard sale every time you open the main compartment. I love the function, design and quality of this bag; you get what you pay for these days and this has been money well spent.
Currently using this on a contracting gig and it is fantastic. Great build quality, exactly what I needed in a low profile package (subdued branding), exactly as advertised and couldn't be happier.
The Alpha Shell is the best outer layer I have owned. It is waterproof yet breathable. It keeps me dry and comfortable when I expect wind, rain, or wet snow. It is a constant go to while hiking, backpacking, or climbing. Allowing me to layer up when necessary. I highly recommend the Alpha Shell Jacket.
I have an ar pistol and it fits so nicely in the sleeve that you dont know if you are carrying
Large packing bag is great Holds two pair tactical style pants with knee pads, two pair shorts, five shirts, three underwear, and three pair of socks. Small packing bag is perfect for toiletries. Both fit into backpack as designed.
I recently took the Nomadic Research Convertible EDC Pack on an overnight trip into the Appalachian Mountains, and it absolutely exceeded expectations.
One of the standout features is its ability to convert seamlessly between a chest rig and a traditional fanny pack. While rucking in my gear, I wore it on my chest and switched to tradition fanny pack around camp. The pack rides comfortably in both configurations, with well-placed straps and a secure fit that doesn’t bounce or chafe.
By far one of the most important pieces of gear that I traveled with. If you're looking for a versatile, durable, and well-designed pack this is the one for you. I’ll definitely be taking it on many more trips to come.
I have several items from NR; they use high quality material, and this windbreaker is no exception. It is lightweight, water resistant and very true to size. I am a woman's L in coats and a men's M. The M fits perfect. I highly recommend ANY NR product!
